We were told that an unusual mist has descended on the morning that we were setting out on a reccie in search of another perfect location.
Sea defences softened by the mist’s hazy effect emerged with regimental insistence along miles of sandy beaches infront of us..
..and a striped red and white lighthouse arose from the flat landscape.
The marram grass topped dunes overlooking the beach were exactly what we wanted for our opening sequence.. intensified beneath a dark and moody sky..
..and chalet style houses nestling against the backs of the dunes.
However travelling with cast and crew to Norfolk is beyond our budget at this stage.. so it will have to remain an ‘inspiration’ whilst we search for something suitable closer to home.
